Born on the 16th of December in 1986, I am a wildlife & portrait artist who has dedicated my life to being a full-time artist. I pursued my career in art being mentored under the watchful eyes of Sanele Dhlomo & the late James 'Jimmy' Nkomo at the Victoria Falls Art Corner @ Landela Complex from 2002 to 2019. I started soon after high school and have since sold artwork both locally and internationally. Many of my works have been collected by enthusiasts and collectors around the world. My works are inspired by nature and the Victoria Falls' rich diversity. In addition to art being a means of livelihood, I am also a tutor/ mentor developing young artists in the community, inspiring wildlife conservation to the next generation.

Artist Bio

My work takes a critical view on human & wildlife issues. I think of my work as inventories of fragments: representational, inviting the viewer to connect back to nature and the relationship we’ve lost with the Creator in hopes of making visible what is overlooked in the historicizing of our origins, the natural world. My approach has always been grounded on pleasure and aesthetics.

Art has a distinct and subtle way of speaking to the soul which, when done properly, provides a platform to communicate conservation messages without a struggle.”
